COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus
Reconciliation Act) is a Federal law
which mandates that most employer sponsored group medical,
dental, vision and healthcare flexible spending plans
offer insured employees (and their covered dependents)
the opportunity for a temporary continuation of coverage
at group rates, in cases where plan coverage would otherwise
end (such as termination of employment).
